“Finally at Peace” is a spontaneous atmospheric painting that also has the honor of being the subject of my first YouTube artwork timelapse VIDEO.

This is an idea that came and developed naturally over the course of over eight and a half hours, allowing me to play with the basic round brush for the better part of the process, and forced me to rely less on textures and tricks.

The focus on shape, value and atmosphere improved the final result significantly, as they pushed this painting into a place I actually am satisfied with and showed me a few paths about my process and how it could evolve.
